Day 3 15 Days Russia + Scandinavia

Day 3

We started the 3rd day with the Moscow City Tour. Our first destination was the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour ... the tallest Orthodox Church in the world.

The one that we saw was a rebuilt in 2000, the original which was built in 1860 was dynamited and reduced to rubble in 1931. Due to the lack of funds, its was once converted to one of the world's largest swimming pool.

Next, we had a panoramic view of Moscow at Sparrow Hills.

After a Russian lunch, we visited the Moscow Metro. Moscow Metro Stations are well-known because it looks like an underground museum.

We ended our Moscow Metro tour at Arbat Street and had a fantastic time wandering on the pedestrian street in the historical centre of Moscow.

Had dinner at Arbat Street at My My cafe, the highlight of the dinner is the dessert! We had poppy seed roll! Some of the tour members were horrified as poppy were used to make opium. Haha, like opium, the poppy roll really grows in you, the more you eat it the more you enjoy it :)

End of Day 3 ...
