15 Days Russia + Scandinavia 2012

The next few posts (or much, much more) will be me withering about my recent trip to Russia + Scandinavia. I wanted to pen down all the memories and experiences while it's still fresh in my mind.

Usually, I prefer to do F&E travel but as this trip is with mom & dad and to Russia (which is not exactly well known as a safe place and Russian does look a bit cold and expressionless. It doesn't help that my mom's friend shared that when they went to Russia last year, one of the tour members was detained in custom for 4 hours! What a start to a trip!


We have been toying with the idea of traveling to Russia, Turkey, Greece, Tibet, Mongolia ... the list goes on and only decided to go Russia in March this year. Like a diligent student, we started asking around and comparing prices. Not many agencies in Singapore offers tour to Russia. We are only interested to visit Moscow and St Petersburg and decided to do the 15 Days Russia and Scandinavia Tour instead of focusing on only Russia.
